I’m a User Interface (UI) & User Experience (UX) designer with a passion for minimal, clean and intuitive designs. I love everything that has been stripped to the bare essentials revealing the absolute basics. Want to know more about me? Then sit back and grab a cuppa while I reveal all…
Born and raised in S.E Kent, UK I attended school just like everyone else. From a very young age I was one of those kids who loved to take things apart to see how they worked. Anything from phones, watches all the way up to TV’s (which did not go down well with my parents as you can imagine) – Only to put them back together again but some with a few extra features. Although this doesn’t explain how I got into design, well this stems from my teenage years and back then I was an avid gamer. I used to design graphics for gamers signatures and create the web-sites for many different clans. It was then that I fell in love with designing and chose to pursue it as a career. I completed a degree in Multimedia Design at the amazing Rose Bruford college and landed my first job as a Web Designer in the field shortly after graduation back in 2009.
Since I started freelancing through university, I have always been honing my skills and taking in as much information and knowledge I can get my hands on. Reading up on new techniques, following the latest emerging trends and constantly staying up-to date with the latest tutorials which I believe in-turn, will help me become an established designer. On top of this, over the past 3 years I have been focusing a lot of time to User Experience principles within the web and mobile/tablet industry. This is something that has always fascinated me and I aim to secure my future career within this specialist field of the creative process.
As for hobbies I am an avid Android fan and have been heavily involved with Custom ROM development and User Interface designs for a number of developers and have high hopes for the future of Android and the Mobile platform in general. I am an active member of the XDA forums which is a very vibrant community with a wealth of knowledge.
… anyway thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions or would like to discuss your next project, feel free to get in contact.
